Phim kể về cô gái 24 tuổi Kara Zor - El, cô chị họ của Superman. Cô nàng đã trốn thoát khỏi Krypton sau vụ nổ và trú ngụ tại trái đất dưới lốt một cô gái bình thường tên Kara Devengers.
